very easy if u have ever used a jig saw. the hard part is removing all the body panels and buying the wood. Its super simple. some one recomended 3/4 inch MDF, i say thats overkill! 1/4 inch will do you just fine in my opinion. with most speakers other than subs you are just looking to seperate the front and rear sound fields, although a tight seal would be more efficient, it is not absolutly needed. good luck, and have fun.
